When I first heard about the concept for this show I knew I had to watch it. Once I started, I knew that I couldn't stop. A show that each season dealt with a new concept, but also had the effects of a movie, how could you go wrong?
Season 1: Murder House
The start of the addiction that is known as AHS. A family moves into a house that is known as "The Murder House" and you can guess why. Needless to say, the fate of the current family is sealed. Going through the house we saw ghosts from the past people who lived there. It added to the creep factor seeing interaction between ghosts and family.
Season 2: Asylum
I'm a huge fan of asylum's, especially ones that are creepy. The creep factor of this asylum is high. This season was very well done, I found. We went back and forth between the past and the present. While in the past, we got to see what the doctors did to patients, how they treated them. Many horrible things happened and it was fascinating how the present is a result of the past. The devil even made an appearance.
Season 3: Coven
I love witches and New Orleans, so I couldn't wait for this season. I wasn't disappointed. Not my favorite season, but it was still great none the less. Teens going to a "school" to see who the next "supreme" witch would be. Discovering who had what power and seeing how they became aware of them. Not as scary as the other two seasons, but interesting.
Season 4: Freak Show
This was my least favorite of all the seasons, but I still really enjoyed it. I did enjoy the early sixties feel of the freak show and the people who exist because of genetics. I found it to be interesting how those outcasts of society made a living. This season showed you how each season does connect to one another; just have to see the pieces fall into place.
Season 5: Hotel
I'm so excited for this season. I have heard so many good things about it and the little teasers catch my attention each time. It seems it will be a really good season. Plus, Lady Gaga is a character in this season. I love her and can't wait to see how she brings her character to life.
Are any of you fans of this show? If you are, are you ready for the new season starting tonight? I know I am.
