Book Reivew: The Chalet by: Tara Sue Me

I know I'm posting two in one day, but the fifth book comes out very soon and I want to have all the reviews up for the previous books to be up before it comes out.

Synopsis: Goodreads

Submitting her body was only the beginning.

Abby King didn’t know true passion until she gave herself to Nathaniel West, one of New York City’s most eligible bachelors and desired Dominants. Now, on the eve of her marriage, she realizes all her dreams are coming true. And with a romantic honeymoon getaway planned at a secluded Swiss chalet, she’s sure Nathaniel will find even more fantasies to fulfill…

Nathaniel never thought he’d settle down until Abby broke down his barriers and changed his plans. With their wedding only weeks away, he can barely wait to possess her completely—heart, body, and soul—and show her the true meaning of being both a wife and a submissive.

Only Abby has one more challenge in store before she becomes his: no sex and no collar for one month before the wedding. Nathaniel is willing to give it a shot but he has one scandalous stipulation—once that month is up, anything goes…

Review: (4.5 stars)

I don’t buy Kindle books because I have a hard time concentrating on the story, but when I saw this was only in that form I had to get it either way. This dealt with their wedding and I couldn’t pass up not reading it.

I like being able to have both Abby and Nathaniel’s point of view. We get more out of the situations they are in. Abby’s chapters were longer than Nathaniel’s chapters, but that didn’t bother me. I like that we got to be with the bride more and seeing her going through the motions of planning her wedding.

The only thing that did really bother me was, I would have liked to have been able to read more about the wedding. It felt rushed in my opinion. It really focused on their honeymoon. I didn’t mind that, but reading about the wedding was what I was looking forward to.

I liked being able to read about their wedding and honeymoon. I think it helped the characters as well with having gotten married. Both of their relationships they have with each other I think grew because they both know that they are together in every way they can be. This was a beautiful story.
